Is it safe to have sex during pregnancy?
Most women can continue to have sex during pregnancy, and in fact, sex can be very enjoyable now because of the increased blood flow to the pelvic floor.
There are some rare circumstances, though, in which sexual activity should be avoided. Your doctor should let you know if you have -- or develop -- any complications that make sex a no-go. If you're unsure, ask your caregiver.
