| | 6 / 11 6. Aim for more fruits and veggies
Most people should aim for 2 servings of fruits and 2 servings of vegetables a day, according to Health Promotion Board. Go for color and variety -- dark green, yellow, orange, red -- to give your body the essential nutrients it needs.
Keep fruit out on your desk or kitchen counter where you can see it. That way you'll be more likely to eat it. 1 small apple, orange, pear, 1 banana, 1 wedge papaya, and 10 grapes easily constitute 1 serving each.
At meal time, try filling half your plate with vegetables. Salads and stir frys are easy ways to reach this goal.
