Relying on fast foods and prepackaged dinners
Eating too much of fast foods and ready meals can be an express route to poor health, because they tend to be loaded with calories, fat, salt (sodium) and sugar. Plus, many of these convenience meals also lack important vitamins and minerals, which means you are more likely to be deficient in certain vitamins if you consume them too often. So make it a point to make fresh meals at least every other night.

Having a candy bowl on your coffee table
Do you have a candy or snack bowl sitting out on your coffee table? Keep them away so you're not tempted to snack mindlessly while watching the television.
