Bent-Knee Push Up
Steps:
1. Assume a push-up position, with hands slightly wider than chest-width apart, knees on floor.
2. Bend elbows, lowering torso, and hold for 2 counts. Then push up to starting position. Do 10 reps.
Arc
Steps:
1. Stand with feet and knees together, dumbbells in each hand, knees slightly bent. Bend slightly forward from hips, arms extended just behind hips, palms facing out and back.
2. Keeping torso still, arc arms forward, up and out to sides, until arms are extended in front of you at head level. Lower arms back to starting position. Repeat 8 times.
Chair Dip
Steps:
1. Sit on edge of chair, feet flat on floor, hands grasping chair near hips. Cross right leg over left, ankle resting on left thigh. Shift hips off chair, supporting your body weight on hands and left foot.
2. Slowly bend elbows back, lowering body until arms are bent about 90 degrees. Press into palms and rise back to starting position. Do 8 reps and switch legs.
