These dimpled, spongy areas of skin are, unfortunately, mostly due to genetics and are notoriously resistant to any form of dieting.
You can, however, reduce the appearance of cellulite by toning up your muscles. Strength training exercises build muscle mass and reduce fat, and can help with the dimpled appearance. Try leg workouts where you use your own body weight as resistance, such as lunges, squats and sprints. Coupled with the use of anti-cellulite creams, the cellulite can improve significantly.
