Where's the use-by date?
Most of the makeup you purchased should have expiry dates indicated on their boxes, packagings or wrappers. Ensure you dump any unfinished portions once they have past their use-by dates. One point worth noting: Cosmetics companies that claim they incorporate very few or no preservatives in their products will have a much shorter shelf life compared to their preservative-laden counterparts. Once past their expiry dates, they are much more prone to becoming breeding grounds for bacteria, so you need to pay extra attention to their use-by dates. Never ever use these preservative-free cosmetics past the use-by dates indicated.
